Our Mission
nuAZN is one of Northwestern University’s Asian-interest magazines, dedicated to amplifying Asian and Asian American voices through art, poetry, photography, and essays. Each issue gives students a platform to share the stories, perspectives, and experiences that shape who we are. Our entirely student-run group works across editorial, design, multimedia, and corporate teams to produce a publication that reflects the diversity, creativity, and passion of our community.
Our Fall 2025 Issue
This fall, we’re publishing Satellite, our newest issue. Like its name suggests, Satellite is about sending our voices further—reaching new readers, sparking conversations, and connecting across distances. Every page is a celebration of Asian identity and storytelling.
Why We Need Your Help
Producing a high-quality print magazine costs more than our budget allows. Printing, distribution, and outreach all come with significant costs, and without additional funding, we risk limiting the reach of our work. Your contribution will ensure Satellite is printed and shared widely, giving Asian and Asian American students the visibility they deserve. By supporting us, you’re helping keep these important stories alive and accessible to the Northwestern community and beyond.

The benefits and services provided by Northwestern University’s student groups are available to all students without regard to any category protected by the law. The University believes different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds are critical to a dynamic and vibrant University community, and as such all students are welcome and encouraged to join each group. Any student interested in exploring establishing a new affinity group should contact SOA.
