Support Ahana Dance Project!

We are Ahana Dance Project! Ahana (अहना) in Sanskrit describes the first rays of sun that we see at dawn and represents the inner light present within all. We are a non-competitive South Asian fusion dance team that hopes to provide dancers with a space to learn, grow, and create. By fostering a community that celebrates its strengths, we encourage dancers to share themselves through their ideas, choreography, and presence. In doing so, we hope to build a platform that supports individual growth and collaboration, and continues to spread our love for South Asian culture.

In order to have a successful year of dance, growth, and creativity, Ahana requires funding. Light rentals, photographers, costumes, and other production costs are expensive but vital for our shows. Having this funding would allow us to effectively bring our creative visions to life on the stage. This will allow all of our dancers’ hard work and dedication to pay off and will provide our audiences and the Northwestern community with a captivating show immersed in South Asian culture. Please donate to our mission to help our vision come to life! If you are unable to give at this time, please share our project on social media. We deeply appreciate your time and consideration.
