Reel8 Productions

Reel8 Productions intends to build stronger connections and understanding among the Northwestern community through our unscripted video content, online platform, and club community, as well as offer students the opportunity to build their portfolio through video production, digital content strategy, marketing, and on-camera experience. We aim to grow our production quality and improve our content through the Catalyzer. As a barrier-free organization, our goal is to provide opportunities for creative development and collaboration in the film space, regardless of prior knowledge or experience.

With your help, we can train members using professional equipment for filming purposes. We hope to use the funding to rent cameras and microphones for our two fall videos: Match the Student to the Sport and 1 Senior Imposter vs. 6 Freshmen. Our videos showcase the diversity of the Northwestern student body while creating opportunities for cast members to connect and for audiences to discover different parts of the Northwestern community.
