One Must Imagine Sisyphus

Sit & Spin Productions exists to expand the definition of theater at Northwestern University by giving artists opportunities to explore unconventional, risk-taking works. This year, for their late fall artist-in-residence slot, Sit & Spin presents One Must Imagine Sisyphus █████, a choose your-own-adventure version of the myth of Sisyphus.

Written and conceptualized by artist-in-residence Sophia Casa and produced by Amber Lu, this original work features a retelling of the Greek myth of Sisyphus, touching on philosophical and classical themes, in a choose your-own-adventure format. In this production, audience members will be randomly selected to move through the story in the role of Sisyphus, making choices that influence and shape the story so that each new version of Sisyphus builds a completely unique show.
