Northwestern Figure Skating Club (NUFSC)

NUFSC (Northwestern Figure Skating Club) is the sole opportunity for students to continue their love of skating at the university level. Our goal is to give every student the opportunity to compete proudly for Northwestern without financial burden. NUFSC encompasses two teams, intercollegiate freestyle, and synchronized skating. Together we host 42 skaters and compete at the regional and national levels.

Both teams compete against other universities during our competition season, perform locally, and host an annual spring exhibition for the Evanston community. Membership on this team means incredible bonds, memories, personal growth and has been the heart of students' Northwestern experience.

We are a group of students with diverse backgrounds and interests that intersect at figure skating. We are in multiple undergraduate and graduate schools, and our ability to come together as teams on the ice is what makes us powerful and successful. However, we need your support in order to make this happen.

This project will benefit all current and future NU figure skating students, the reputation of Northwestern, and all community/non-local/family members who are able to be involved and spectate. Without ice time to practice and prepare for competitions/performances, the function of our team is impossible.

In order to skate our best, we'll need to spend lots of time on the ice, especially at competitions. Getting a feel for the competition arena and practicing while away from our home rink is one of the best ways to ensure our team is ready to step on the ice and dazzle the judges! Your support will ensure that we can represent NU well at competition.

Please consider giving to sharing our campaign with others, every dollar counts!
