Jaelyn:

Hello! My name is Jaelyn, and I’m a junior at Northwestern studying philosophy and international studies. I am Northwestern Mock Trial’s (NUMT) fundraising chair this year! I am also the co-tournament director for Mock at the Rock, Northwestern Mock Trial’s annual mock trial tournament for college competitors. I am extremely excited for this upcoming year and invested in the success of our program. This success involves the successful operation of Mock at the Rock. I joined NUMT my freshman year with no prior mock trial experience, and this team has been the highlight of my time at Northwestern. This program has offered me not only real life trial experience, but it has provided a community of peers whom I have found a family within. I have learned how to think on my feet, develop unique solutions, and lead with care. Outside of Mock Trial, I also work at Kellogg School of Management as an assistant for the Global Programs department. Thank you so much for supporting NUMT! It means so much to our team that you are helping leverage the organization that many of our students have found a home in. It is your support that propels us toward regionals, ORCS, and nationals success! 

Eshaan:

Hey! My name is Eshaan, and I’m a senior at Northwestern studying psychology and science in human culture with minors in legal studies and data science. I’m currently serving as Northwestern Mock Trial’s vice president for the 2026–27 school year. I joined NUMT my freshman year and have been hooked ever since. This program has given me the chance to travel across the country, compete against some of the best teams in the nation, and sharpen my communication and critical thinking skills. Most importantly, I’ve found a community of driven, supportive, and inspiring teammates who have made my NUMT experience unforgettable. Outside of mock trial, I’m involved in Northwestern’s Associated Student Government, I dance on Ahana Dance Project, and I am a campus tour guide .
