Hello! My name is Addi Peck, and I am proud to be the producer of Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse! I am a sophomore studying political science and international studies, and I love staying involved in the theatre community in any way I can. I am the current production manager of the Purple Crayon Players, so my love of theater for young audiences runs deep! Connection to the arts can be transformative for young children, which is why I am so passionate about this show and the opportunities that the tour brings. This was one of my favorite stories as a kid, and I am excited to bring it to so many new audiences! All of our shows are barrier-free, so your support is essential. I hope to see you in Shanley soon!

Hi everyone! My name is Eva Burkholder, a junior studying dance, international studies, and theatre. I am so excited to be the director of The Purple Crayon Players’ touring show: Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse! I found myself drawn to direct this slot because I have the opportunity to not only work with talented student performers and designers on campus, but also bring this show to the Evanston community! Previously, I directed Fly Away Home (by Laura King) as a part of the Purple Crayon Players’ Playground Festival in 2024. Outside of directing, I love to perform, dance with other student groups, and stay involved in the theater community through choreography and arts administration. We cannot wait to share this amazing play with audiences of all ages!!
