Hi! My name is Shona Dave, and I’m one of the producers for Arts Alliance’s spring production of Legally Blonde. I’m a junior at Northwestern studying math and economics, with a minor in theatre, and I’m involved in consulting organizations and various student theater projects on campus. Our production of Legally Blonde centers identity and empowerment, reimagining the story to confront both racial and gender stereotypes while celebrating themes of girlhood and community through high-energy music, choreography, and design elements. I’m so excited to work with our 70-person team to bring this show to life at Northwestern!

My name is Hillary Altes, and I am co-producing Legally Blonde! I’m a junior majoring in theatre, economics and psychology. I’m very passionate about student theater, particularly with respect to producing, directing, and new work! What excites me most about working on Legally Blonde is the opportunity to foster collaboration and create a community among a large production team. I look forward to supporting our designers and other collaborators through this process, and I’m grateful to be a part of such a meaningful retelling of an iconic show!
